Post-Doctoral Associate
She obtained a M.Sc. in Life Sciences at Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, in 2015 and a Ph.D. in Biology at Rutgers University, New Jersey, in 2022 under the mentorship of Dr. Wilma Friedman. In 2022 she started a postdoctoral position at Dr. Viviane Tabar lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Her work focused on understanding the role of the microenvironment on grafted dopaminergic neurons in a mouse model of Parkinson’s disease. In an additional project she aimed to understand the role of specific genes in cancer therapy related cognitive degeneration.
